I had a consultation with Dr Elangasinghe on Wednesday 22nd July following a sudden rash all over my body. I can’t express my gratitude enough, he was very thorough and explained everything to me. As strange as it sounds, I felt at ease during very worrying circumstances. As he said I am very lucky and if it wasn’t for him, the outcome could have very different. I’m on the mend now with new medication and everything seems to be going in the right direction. Thank you so much to an amazing doctor.

We took my son to Dr Elangasinghe about his alopecia areata. We had a really through consultation he asked my son lots of questions and really listen to us regarding his history and previous treatments. We have been seeing him for 6 months now with a great outcome for my sons condition. His secretary is really helpful and very professional. She has followed up several times now in getting our consultation summary organised to our gp in a really timely fashion. She always calls me back when she says she will and is very organised.

I visited Dr Elangasinghe with my 16 year old daughter due to an abnormal looking mole on her shoulder blade. He did a full body examination of all her moles (with a female nurse present) and my daughter felt at ease through out. His recommendation was to remove the mole but he gave a thorough explanation as to why it needed to be removed, what the procedure would entail and also gave a level of comfort regarding the other moles. The procedure at Thornberry was arranged quickly and efficiently. A female nurse (Mel - also magnificent) was present through out and was wonderful in allaying any concerns my daughter had about the procedure, of which there were a few. I was allowed to sit in the consultation room whilst the procedure was taking place and Dr Elangasinghe gave a running commentary through out to us both about what he was doing, what would happen next and how to manage afterwards. He was calm, patient and made my daughter feel totally at ease. The aftercare was superb and, due to the distance we had to travel, our follow up appointment for the pathology results was done via telephone. Dr Elangasinghe was clear in his assessment and explanation of the results and made every effort to speak to us both to ensure my daughter understood and was happy. First appointment to last was a total of 5 weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Elangasinghe and whilst I hope not to see him again anytime soon, would definitely use him again if the need arose.

My husband has been under Dr Elangasinghe care since the beginning of May and the difference in him is amazing, he’s gone from being unable to have a normal life to now being almost back to normal after Dr Elangasinghe diagnosed his complex condition and started him on treatment,he is a kind thoughtful man who gives you his time and listens to what you say.We Carnt thank him enough.
